Julian B. Thomas - GLENNVILLE - Julian B. Thomas, 74, died Sunday, May 11, 2008 at The Griffin House in Claxton, Georgia. The Tattnall County native had lived in this area all of his life. He served in the Georgia National Guard, and a member of the Georgia Poultry Board and was a founding member of Glennville Hatchery. He also served as a Tattnall County Commissioner and was the owner/operator of Georgia Nuggets and Nature's Choice. He was also a member of Glennville First Baptist Church serving on the Board of Deacons and as a Sunday School teacher. He was preceded in death by his son, Danny Thomas; sister, JoAnn Thomas; and parents, Rufus & Bertha Thomas. Survivors include: His Wife: Jackie DeLoach Thomas of Glennville; Daughter-in-Law: Libba Thomas of Glennville; Grandsons: Drew Thomas and Brett Thomas, both of Glennville; Great-Grandson: Waylon Thomas, also of Glennville; Sisters and Brothers-in-Law: Lyndal and Kennon Tatum, Wanda Lopez, Anita and Bob Kelley, all of Reidsville; Brothers and Sister-in-Law: Kerry and Mary Thomas of Albany, Ronnie Thomas of Charleston, SC; Several nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm, Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home in Glennville. Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, May 14, at Glennville First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Glennville City Cemetery.
